I am Leanne's cat. She chose me. They came all the way across the border one night in June 2001 to come and fetch me and I was still so small. Born in France, moved to Geneva, spent my first summer in Belgium. Lived in Algeria and Pakistan before moving to Kazakhstan with another stop in Belgium.  By now I know the inside of the cargohold of an airplane. Not exactly business class and champagne. If you don't call this a jet setting "aristocat" then I do not know what other name to give it.

I am Happy's buddy. In the beginning when I was still little I would just hang on to the fur of his hind legs and bite his legs with my sharp tiny teeth. It would make the family laugh but it drove Happy mad. Now we are real friends. I even sleep next to him at night.

My name, "Artemis", was chosen by Leanne. Don't really know what it stands for but I like it. Sounds quite "artistocatic".
